Wine labels
For a wedding it is nice to pour over bag-in-box wines to wine bottles with your own label, or to cover the original label with your monogram. Favors and gifts can also be adorned this way. How much text you want is a matter of taste and function. Choose whatever suits you best!
I have used Photoshop Elements to make these labels.
1. Remove the original labels on your bottle (or jar) by putting the bottle in water for about an hour. Then peel of the label. Sometimes the old glue does not come off completely, but the main thing is that the old print doesn't shine through the new label.
2. Make the background in the right size in high resolution. I recommend 300 dpi.
3. Add the monogram to the picture. Edit away the white background and change the color if you want to.
4. Add the text you want.
5. Save the picture. | |
6. Insert the picture in Microsoft Word (as many times you can to fill a sheet) and print on the paper of your choice. Keep in mind that thick papers are hard to paste on bottles or jars.
7. Cut out the labels and glue them on your bottle or jar. |
